Korean Eggplant πŸ† ( Gaji-namul )

Today I had Korean Eggplant πŸ† ( Gaji-namul ) for lunch, very dearly made for myself to myself. It was delicious πŸ˜‹!!

Ingredients


-2 big korean eggplants ( about a pound ), washed and caps removed


-3 cloves garlic, minced


-2 green onions chopped or 2 tablespoons of any onions you have


- 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce


-1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes


-1 tablespoon sesame oil


-1 teaspoon sesame seeds


Directions


1- Cut the eggplants crosswise into 2Β½ inch pieces. Cut the thicker pieces in half lengthwise, and Steam for 5 minutes over medium high heat.


2- Combine garlic, green onion, soy sauce, hot pepper flakes, sesame oil in a bowl, and mix well.


3- Take out the steamed eggplant and transfer to a cutting board. Let cool for about 5 minutes or until you can easily handle them.


4- Tear each piece into bite size pieces.


5- Add the eggplants to the bowl and mix well by hand or with a wooden spoon.


6-Sprinkle with the sesame seeds, mix, and serve.
