Are you ready to enjoy good skin days?
Today I’m sharing with you a very easy homemade face mask recipe that you must try during this quarantine.
I grew up using it whenever I had a little pimple or just because.
This is a Dominicans number one go to facemask when it comes to healing or preventing breakouts, and
You only need water and oatmeal to make it.
Oats contain compounds called saponins, which are natural cleansers, Oatmeal also soaks up the excess oil on your skin and Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties can help to treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells.
I tablespoon of oats
1 1/2 tablespoons of water
Mix the oats and the water and let it set for 10 minutes, then apply the mixture to your face and keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash your face with cold water and apply your favorite face lotion.
Is this whole situation giving you anxiety?
I’m not a psychologist or anything similar but we are in the same boat, I feel you.
Here takes off my personal opinion;
It’s been weeks and even months since we all are quarantined. There are things you can’t control; like when this is going to be over. So, let’s focus on what you can control; The media you are consuming, what you do with your time…
This situation is uncertain to all of us, and as an individual, you have the right to handle it in a completely different way than others. Being that said, #stayhome, be productive if you want to, sleep if you want to, jump, dance if you have to, call your friends, read, text…do what helps you feel good.
Your mental health is as important as the health of your body. If you are experiencing pressure due to expectations of any kind, remember that expectations are not your problem, that’s the problem of those who expect.
Don’t dare ether to sabotage yourself worrying about what others do or don’t on social media, even salt looks like sugar some times.😉
There is no pattern base on your body, age, social status, ethnicity…on how you should handle this situation, we are each different from one another.
#Weareinthistoguether, stay home, respect, and appreciate who is by your side, give yourself love.
If you can’t control, you might as well let go.

1. Cleanse your skin, and apply the scrub onto your face and body using your fingers to gently massage the mixture, in circular motions on your skin. Taking 10-15 minutes to really exfoliate your body.
2. Wash it off your body using water only.
3. Apply the mask on your face and body including under eye areas (great for dark circles), and live it on for 15 minutes.
4. Wash it off with water.
5. Last but not least, apply Organic coconut oil massaging for a few minutes in gentle circular motions on your face and body. Leave it on.
Do this at night or when you are not planning to go right out in the sun.
Healthier skin ✔️
Glowing skin ✔️
Remember to drink a lot of water, and apply SPF daily.
Mature, ripe or young coconuts I just love them. They are delicious 🤤 and have so many benefits !!!
I’m pretty sure that if you either do a research or ask your doctor you will find out how good they can be for you. Meanwhile here are 3 reasons to drink natural coconut water
1. “Nature’s Sports Drink“: contains 5 key electrolytes: sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. It’s great to prevent dehydration, and can be consumed before, during or after workout.
2. Cleansing / Detox : coconut water is full of nutrients and minerals, contains a similar electrolyte profile to human blood making it an ideal beverage to replace fluids and help remove toxins from the body.
3. Anti- aging : Coconut water is rich in cytokinins, which is well known for its anti-aging properties. Since coconut water also hydrates the skin from within, it works in two ways to halt aging, from inside and out.
However you should limit your intake to a few servings a day to avoid coconut water disadvantages such as high levels of potassium.

Happy New Years everyone!!!!
I woke up to 2019 feeling very grateful, so I decided to make a gratitude jar.
Wondering what that is?
I’ll say it’s a jar filled with positive thoughts, feelings, situations…etc. that have made you feel grateful at some point.
I’m starting mine today and I’ll open it if i am feeling down as the year goes by, and at the and of 2019. It is great to practice gratitude!
If you guys want to try it you can do a personal one or a family one ( it would be fun to open it and just experience together those little moments). Your body and mind will appreciate it.
It’s very easy to practice gratitude, you can write things like: I’m grateful for the person who made me laugh at the grocery store; I’m grateful for my best friend; I am grateful for the way I feel today….things like that. you write it down on a slip of paper and stick it in the jar.
We don’t always feel the same, so if one day you feel like writing 5 slips of paper do it, if you feel like writing one, do it, if you feel like opening it, open it. It’s your choice. Have fun with it!
I am grateful you are reading this, and wish health, success, and happiness for you and those around you. Have an AMAZING 2019.
Say Goodbye to Chapped Lips with This super nourishing and moisturising homemade Lip Scrub. All you need is 1 tablespoon coconut oil, and 1 tablespoon sugar.
Mix ingredients in a small bowl until a grainy paste forms, then apply a small amount to your finger, spread it over lips and gently massage for about 2-3 minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water and apply a hydrating lip moisturizing product. Store the rest in a small jar.
Specially in winter time I like to do this at least 3 times a week, it keeps my lips very soft, and healthy. Give it a try!
Applying sugar scrub helps hydrate and keep the moisture in the skin.
I love this recipe; it helps to prevent strength marks, treat dark spots, It’s great to help with sun damage, an excellent gentle exfoliant, and It works well to slough off those dead skin cells & reveal healthy glowing skin. ( Grandma’s Secret 🤫)
I like to do it once or twice a week.
1 cup brown cane sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 spoon baking soda
15 drops mint, lavender or choice essential oil
Combine and stir all ingredients in a bowl.
Store in a glass container.
I usually take a shower first, then take small amounts of the scrub with a spoon and rub all over my body in circular motions for about 1 minute; let it sit for 3-4 minutes, rinse off and pat dry with a towel. This makes my skin feel heavenly.
I never do it on my face because I have sensitive skin. Just 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 1/2 of pure honey mixed in, is more gently for my face.
I would say try it in a small area before you rub it all over your body in case of allergies.
I hope it works for you as great as it does for me. Rise and shine! ☀️
